Origin
Portugal is a country rich in Cork Oak. Cork grows on Cork Oaks as an outer layer that helps to protect the tree from possible damage. For our part, we work in our workshops near Lisbon, in the west of Portugal, where we use recycled cork, cork chips and other recycled materials such as rubber). We grind and mix these raw materials until they form agglomerations of cork by applying pressure. We then laser cut the product, polish it and treat any stains, then carefully pack it to ship it to you.
