These fish-shaped bowls were designed by Chaymae, founder of Fany, to symbolize the heart and Mediterranean origins of the brand. For this first collection by Fany, Chaymae was inspired by Moroccan mosaic (zellige) laid in herringbone patterns, an ancestral artisanal technique that has been passed down from generation to generation.
After a childhood in Morocco and a few years of study in Marseille, Chaymae left her native Mediterranean for a career as a consultant in Paris.
At the dawn of her 30th birthday, she decided to take a break to mature a project that brings together everything she loves: decoration, crafts, the sun and the Mediterranean. She then launched Fany, a brand of small artisanal decoration with Mediterranean heart and roots.
