A true ode to minimalism, our Iken cushion cover makes a lasting impression with its simple yet sophisticated design. It showcases the naturally unbleached color of the sheep's wool that serves as a canvas for its four clean lines. Like all the pieces in this collection, it is hand-woven by artisans in the old medina of Fez who preserve the ancestral know-how of weaving using the pedal loom.

Origin

This piece was handcrafted with the greatest care by the partner artisans of Folks & Tales. In a small workshop in the heart of the medina of Fez, the largest pedestrian zone in the world, Yahya and three other artisans work every day to preserve a know-how passed down from generation to generation. In this unique place where time has stood still, ancestral looms sit alongside spinning wheels and pots for dyeing wool.
