This flexible and lightweight vegan bag is very practical to accompany you on a daily basis. Made from 100% natural cork, this handmade bag stands out for its eco-responsible manufacturing process, and for the meticulous work of this material which gives it all its originality and authenticity.

Cork has many advantages: in addition to being natural, recyclable and sustainable, it is light, soft, flexible and easy to clean.

Little extra: malleable, this bag can be stored flat or rolled up.

Origin

This collection is handmade in Portugal by local artisans. The materials used are 100% plant-based. For this model, designer Marita Moreno chose cork, which she sources from a Portuguese company that owns cork oak plantations in Alentejo (southern Portugal).

Interview

Cork is a waterproof material that is not afraid of water and is easy to maintain.

If your bag is dirty, dampen a soft cloth with water, add a little soap (natural soap), rub gently, and voila, that's it!
If your bag is stained, take a white eraser and carefully rub it over the stain! (However, absolutely avoid abrasive erasers)

Marita Moreno

I am Marita, founder of the Marita Moreno brand, a Portuguese fashion accessories brand created with a unique, ethical and sustainable perspective.

We collaborate with Portuguese artisans who make our bags by hand and with whom we have a very close relationship. We use ecological and quality materials based on the principles of sustainability and favor a timeless design that avoids "fast-fashion" trends and too short product life cycles.

We only work with companies that follow and respect the rules imposed by the Portuguese State, in terms of job security, social security and finances.

Ethics, transparency in production and social responsibility have always been intrinsic values of the brand. From the beginning, with the creation of limited editions, the use of local raw materials, production in Portugal and the integration of traditional artisanal textiles in our products, we have been committed to being a sustainable brand with a positive environmental impact. A commitment that has been reinforced by the introduction of our vegan line.
