Origine

Le Portugal est un pays riche en Chêne-liège. Le liège pousse sur les Chênes-lièges comme une couche externe qui aide à préserver l'arbre d'éventuels dommages. Pour notre part, nous travaillons dans nos ateliers près de Lisbonne, à l'ouest du Portugal, où nous utilisons le liège recyclé, les copeaux de lièges et autres matériaux recyclés comme le caoutchouc). Nous broyons et mélangeons ces matières premières jusqu'à former des agglomérations de lièges en appliquant une pression. Nous découpons ensuite le produit au laser, le polissons et traitons les éventuelles tâches, puis l'emballons avec soin pour vous l'expédier.

Fany

After a childhood in Morocco and a few years of study in Marseille, Chaymae left her native Mediterranean for a career as a consultant in Paris.

At the dawn of her 30th birthday, she decided to take a break to mature a project that brings together everything she loves: decoration, crafts, the sun and the Mediterranean. She then launched Fany, a brand of small artisanal decoration with Mediterranean heart and roots.

For this first collection, Chaymae was inspired by Moroccan mosaic (zellige) laid in herringbone patterns, an ancestral artisanal technique that has been passed down from generation to generation. In terms of colors, Chaymae chose soft and warm colors to bring the sun and the Mediterranean joy of life.
