The Azrou napkin is our modern reinterpretation of traditional Fez embroidery. The intricate ancestral pattern is hand embroidered on washed linen fabric, available in two delicate colors: powder pink and ivory. Each piece is patiently hand embroidered by talented embroiderers in the city of Fez.
Origin
Fassie embroidery, related to the city of Fez, is an ancestral art practiced by Moroccan women for several centuries. It is passed down from generation to generation as mothers teach it to their daughters and embroidered fabrics have been the centerpiece of the bride's trousseau in families in the city of Fez since ancient times. Our collection of hand-embroidered table linen is developed in collaboration with embroiderers working from the old medina of Fez, one of the last places where this know-how is still practiced in accordance with noble traditions.
