What if you added a touch of color and fantasy to your interior with the Sila cushion cover combining contrasts of shades and textures? This piece is hand-woven by a cooperative of talented women, from 100% natural sheep's wool.

Origin

This piece was handmade in the Beni Mellal region of Morocco. Hicham, a natural wool artisan, created his cooperative in 2017 to provide opportunities for women artisans in this region, where he grew up. The cooperative is based on an ethical and collaborative spirit where 21 women artisans practice their craft safely and acquire new skills to continue growing. This group of women masters the art of Berber weaving in the purest respect for traditions. The production process is entirely done by hand, from the selection of the wool, its spinning and dyeing using plant extracts, to the use of an ancestral Berber vertical loom to knot each centimeter of fabric.
